IASSIDD Awards – Deadline 15 April 2022

The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) is now accepting nominations for IASSIDD Awards, to be presented at the June 2022 IASSIDD virtual conference on Inclusive Education.

AWARDS CATEGORIES

  • Distinguished Achievement Award – Research: Awarded for significant contribution to the sciences related to intellectual and developmental disabilities. This may be through a major single contribution or a sustained and important contribution over time.
  • Distinguished Achievement Award – Scientific Literature: Awarded for an outstanding publication published since the last World Congress (August, 2019), which contributes substantially to the literature in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Distinguished Achievement Award – Service: Awarded for a significant contribution to the improvement of services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The service contribution may be at a national or international level.
  • Distinguished Service Citation: Awarded for outstanding or exemplary service to IASSIDD by a person who has served as an officer, councilor, member of a committee or otherwise actively participated in the affairs and activities of the Association.

The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the field of IDD by designating them Fellows of IASSIDD.

All nominations together with supporting documents and a nomination form must be submitted to the IASSIDD Secretary jzarcone@mayinstitute.org by April 15, 2022. See attached nomination form.
