Our special guest for this event, is Jason Lerch, an international expert on Brain Plasticity. Dr. Lerch is a professor of neuroscience at the University of Oxford, UK. There will be time for questions and discussion following Dr. Lerch’s presentation.
“Brain plasticity refers to the brain’s capability to change during development, ageing, disease, and in response to treatment and experience. Here I will talk about how the brain adapts as we learn, how we can study brain plasticity, and how we can use knowledge about brain plasticity to inform treatment. Come to learn about the sea slug, and stay for pretty brain images!”
